Effective September 18, 2026. This notice covers service requests and Contact Us submissions.
Information collected
For service requests, we collect your name, phone number, optional email, city, ZIP code, selected service, urgency and description. Contact submissions may include your name, email, optional phone number, business or provider name, city, rating, complaint or message details and a business website. We also record submission time and page source.
How it is used
We use the information to respond, review ratings or complaints, evaluate listing requests, identify a potentially suitable provider, prevent abuse, maintain records and improve the service. Submissions are delivered to support@805servicestar.com and retained in a restricted owner portal until an authorized owner deletes the portal copy. Contact-form ratings and complaints are not automatically published or used to change a listing.
Who may receive it
A request may be shared with our service-matching partner and up to three service providers who may be able to perform the requested work. The matching partner may perform work, help locate a provider or receive compensation for the introduction. 805 Service Match may also receive compensation for an introduction. A submitted request is not a contract to hire anyone.
Calls, texts and email
By checking the consent box and submitting, you ask 805 Service Match, its matching partner and contacted providers to reach you about that specific request by phone, text or email. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can tell a caller or texter to stop.
Retention and security
Service requests and contact messages are stored in a restricted owner inbox. We retain them only as long as reasonably needed for matching, review, recordkeeping, dispute handling and legal obligations. No online system is perfectly secure, so the forms should not be used for payment data, medical information or other highly sensitive content.
Your choices and questions
You may ask to access, correct or delete request information, subject to applicable exceptions. Send privacy questions or requests to support@805servicestar.com. Before a public launch, this notice should also identify the operating legal entity and mailing address and include any additional California notices that apply to the final business model.
